Recently, Tri Tin Company Limited was invited to attend the Workshop: "Vietnamese Agricultural Products - Japanese Technology" in Ho Chi Minh City on November 15, 2014. At the Workshop, the Company's leaders met and worked with Japanese enterprises operating in the Seaweed industry. This is a new direction for Tri Tin to research and invest in improving technology in the direction of modern Japan, meeting the increasingly diverse needs of the market.

Sea grapes, a "poverty alleviation" and career change target for coastal fishermen
On July 30, 2008, Khanh Hoa Electronic Newspaper published an article: "Engineer Le Ben with Japanese seaweed". The new planting method - using covered floors with nets on abandoned industrial shrimp ponds is an innovation of Engineer Le Ben. According to this method, sea grapes are grown in plastic trays, lined with nylon containing nutritious sand. Then the seed trays are placed on shelves, stalls made of bamboo, wood, or stacked with bricks, stones, submerged at the bottom of the pond; using orchid nets to create a mobile roof to actively regulate the light and temperature of the seawater; combined with a pedal to create flow, increasing the amount of oxygen. Thanks to this, the seaweed has the conditions to absorb nutrients in the tray, without mixing with impurities from the bottom of the pond, at the same time the mobile cover net has the effect of overcoming the hot climate in Vietnam. On the other hand, with this method, harvesting seaweed is more convenient, the investment cost is low, so the product is highly competitive.

ESTABLISHMENT OF VIETNAM STANDARDS REVIEW COUNCIL ON SEA GRAPES IN 2023
Sea grapes are a valuable resource of Vietnam, contributing significantly to the industry, agriculture and food sectors. To ensure quality and safety for consumers, establishing quality standards for sea grapes is essential. With that goal, the TCVN Review Council for Sea Grapes was established. Tri Tin is honored to be a member of the Review Council for documents before submitting them to the competent authority for promulgation. This is a proud milestone when Vietnam becomes the first country in the world to research, develop and promulgate standards for sea grapes products. This shows Vietnam's commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of its sea grapes production industry.
